John Walmsley’s archive of B&W work from the late 60s and the 70s including: the Grosvenor Square anti-Vietnam war demo with Vanessa Redgrave, Tariq Ali and a very young Richard Branson 1968, Rural Ireland, A.S.Neill and Summerhill School, the Guildford Art School sit-in (longest ever in a UK educational institution and the major reason students are now on most (all?) management boards) 1968, The Anna Scher Children’s Theatre, the Bacup “Coconut Men”, the Liverpool Free School, the Architectural Association School of Architecture, the Wester Hailes Education Centre Edinburgh, Digswell Arts Centre providing workshops for artists, Leslie Thomas, Michael Foot, Stephane Grappelli, Walter Segal, Elizabeth Fritsch, Veryan Weston and many others. Yet to be scanned is a major work on life for everyone working in repertory theatre at Salisbury Playhouse in the 1970s.
